Can't see Ping when trying to play online

Hi there,

I'm trying to play a multiplayer game (SH3) with a mate online.

but when he tries to host a game, I can see his game in the lobby, but can't connect as it doesn't display his ping. We tried switching it around, but get the same issue.

We can connect to other games, but not to each other

We both have firewall off, well fairly sure.

so any ideas?

You set up port forwarding?

Not 100% sure, but that might have something to do with it

yep at a guess id say the port that allows the his pc to recieve a ping from yours is stopping it thus not allowing hte connection. You could try a program like hamachi to create virtual lan to see if that helps.
