Question Moto Guzzi California rear tyre press

Any one know why the rear tyre presure on a California needs to be 41 psi. It seems to me to ride more comfortably at 33-35psi.
    Cheers,
    Mark.

Sounds like too much pressure mate.
I had an '04 Stone, and ran 34psi for 2up and luggage (me + her =155kg) and 33 solo. Any more than that was bouncy and horribly upsetting to the otherwise sweet handling.

Thanks, thats what I'm finding. But I rang a bike shop and they quoted that from a manual. Handles nicely and rides well at around 33psi. The only other problem i have is that it has an overwidth rear tyre ( 150/70 ) vs 140/80 in the handbook ( on it when I bought & only just noticed it ) which is sometimes touching the driveshaft tube which looks like it's been dented in to allow for the width. So can't afford to go too low in press.
    Cheers.
