Start at the start line, proceed a full lapin the same direction as everyone else, cross the finish line.

    Or so I assume.....

Take a closer look you guys.Notice how theyve planned it so there is a shorter but just as interesting circuit for club racing . Also there is a simpler -basicly 5 corner track for driver training.
And did ya scope out the elevation changes -we are talking a real hill climb then a diving fast left hander kinda like the corkscrew at LS

Probably clockwise - same as most other circuits. Also looks like the right direction for fast straights into tight corners, with sweeper leading into start finish straight.

Nice. so when do I get a go

6 circuits in NZ 2 run clockwise 4 run anticlockwise

I'd say anticlockwise,I'm assuming that's the pitlane entry on the inside edge of the track coming onto the straight from the right of the pic.
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

I'm still going for clockwise. betcha a beer kickaha

I reckon the pit lane exits near the first corner - else it looks like it would be halfway down the straight. Too big a speed difference.

    Anyone got any details?

    I'm with you, Phil

Yep. Definitely clockwise. You cant have vehicles joining the track on the racing line at hugely different speeds.

Yeah you can...as long as they have a marked merging lane....seems a lot safer than having them pull into the racing line just as people are braking from top speed for the bottom right corner? But looking at the run-off areas doesn't seem to give much away either.....maybe its designed to run in both directions?!?!?

I also see a skid pad and a road under a bridge leading into the infield too!!! Yay no more waiting at the track crossing!!

In local paper it claimed that resorce consent should be complete be 05, track built and open for racing by 06, have tried to get hold of more info from council and EW, but am still waiting for replys, will let kb know when I get more info.
