No need for an "official" time. My scoot will do 180+ with two up and all the usual rally gear on board, f***s the ego a bit when somebody wanting the best tent site at the rally blows past you like you're standing still, eh Dave?

My "lorry" ( hot-rod) clocked at 131mph a few years ago at a southland car clubs flying 1/4, mind you it has 7 litres+

WT you certainly did well on the 600.

Was this you I caught on camera? - not a good close up so I've bought a better camera now.
That's me. Buried behind the bubble. The bike only had 700km on the clock that weekend so I dear say it's a bit quicker now.

Hows 5th outright in the standing 1/4? Sure gave those guys with big bikes and little peckers the learn!

And you! Ya pommy git, when the hell are you gonna start talking the truth? You and your brother Kerry are becoming the laughing stock of Wgtn motorcyclists. BTW that ain't my left leg

You show 'em the learn Trashy! About time people were told that you don't *have* to buy a big bike if you have a little pecker!

    Hells Bells!

Is it this Sunday already? I was, and still am, up for it, but I'm starting to get a little case of the butterflies! Now I don't speed, but, er, if I did, I would have only been up to 250 once, so going faster will be all new for me!

Hell, if anything falls off, I'm not going to know about it anyway, so at least it'll be a good show, and talking point for ya'll

This is going to be fun , hope it's

PS: since it's a closed road/area, can we practice things normally illegal on public roads?

The nice weather over in the Wairarapa yesterday has put thoughts of entering the 1000 in the flyings into my head - you guys wouldn't laugh at me would you?

    Erm...

    Lynda

How long does the Run Up and quarter mile take? About 1 - 2 mins maybe?

Ahhhhhhhh, a couple of minutes silence

No, seriously, I'd like to see the monster in action, so hell yeah, come along.

Will Hamish bring the Beemer as well. It would win the best sounding bike.

Already discussed at start of thread. Here's svs's answer:

Go Lynda!!! Chrissie and I can be your support crew! Oh and Hamish if he's lucky!

I'm hoping to come over with Stone Chucker and have a look.
