    It's me (Seafury)

    looking at getting my bike licence but undecided as yet more interested in cruisers and choppers than sports bikes. But happy for all advice.

    welcome to the mad house mate ... thought I would start off with a crusier but has not ended up that way .. just try & ride everything buddy then you can make an informed decision

    Deviant is an old friend of mine and yeah have always like cruisers more but clean lines are always good too.

    Welcome seafury, always good to see more joining the ranks of KB and the biking comunity...as Chancyy has said, check out as amny bikes as you can, have a good look around, jump on many bikes as you can and see how it feels / sits... ride safe..

    yup the Hawker Seafury was one of my favorite WWII planes a pig to fly but still nice. And yup will try to ride as many bikes as i can.

    Welcome to the KB whirlpool. Don't think the Seafury flew until after WWII but it was certainly designed during that era. There was one in NZ that was obtained from Iraq and flown by Robbie Booth who flew it with an artificial leg.
    He certainly had his share of frights in the thing, especially during take-off and landing.
    If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    welcome to motorcycling , try lots of different bikes before you buy take your time on finding one you like then enjoy

    Welcome to this Hotel California style loony bin, run and occupied by the inmates.

    And these inmates are full of knowledge, helpfull advice and sympathy - as well as insults, abuse and slagging, at time it is hard to tell which catagory their post actually is.
    Winding up drongos, foil hat wearers and over sensitive KBers for over 14,000 posts...........
