wowo aircraft buffs as well as bike buffs i'm impressed. And yes the Seafury did come from the tempest. Most tempests got a name change when they hit the pacific service to the Seafury. And just like flying i guess you never really settle on an aircraft til you have tried a few so will endeavour to do the same with the bikes.

Good to see you on here finally mate No rush for the bike thing... but there's an absolute wealth of information on here, or if you ever need help, all you need do is ask. There's been many occasions when I've asked KBers for assistance, many of whom had never met me due to being in other parts of the country... and there's never been a shortage of offers! I'm sure you'll discover that in time. Have a look at the FAQ section too, it'll stand you in good stead. The stickies in the Site Stuff forum are worth a read too.

Ty and it's about bloody time you put ya nose in here lol. As for the bike thing i need the licence thing first but me being the old man and woose that i am will prolly wait til the summer that gives me the winter to get those all important handling lessons in lol. May even take up the offer i had if it still stands up in waikanae. but until then who knows.

just wondering how much my old cycle riding of the pedaled variety would come in handy especially since i did a few races. I can honestly say a bike with less than an inch of rubber on the road flying down a hill at 70+ kph is a real thriller.
