    Kapiti riders/mentors

Not sure if this is the right place but anyway il soon find out. Anyone in kapiti/paraparumu area willing to teach me a few things on corners. Ive been riding 6 months or so just to work in palmy and bike and it would be good to get tips and what im doing wrong etc. Also good to go for a ride with someone rather than cruising around no mates haha.

Just off the top of my head, theres Sels1 and Paul in NZ. They're good riders, are helpful and know their stuff. I know theres more riders in that area but cant remember names right now.

Hi. If you spend time in Palmy apart from work, there's a few of us up here that would be pleased to help you out anytime

absolutely. There is a good group brewing in Palmy now. Alot of very compedent riders. Any of which (myself included) happy to give pointers on riding. All you have to do is ask. (and put the time in to apply what is learnt/taught)

No worries mate.... Send me a pm if you are keen but I'm an old coot and know next to nothing compared to most.

We are in Raumati South and you are welcome to drop in and talk crap about bikes regardless or you can stand there while I whack bike bits with a big hammer and if its agreeable - yup, we can go for a ride but I'm not much of a teacher I'm afraid!

    Cheers

If you are looking for an official KB mentor please refer to the mentor list and pm someone in your area (I can advise if you need help with that)

    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showgroups.php

However there are good riders like Paul and Sels in your area who I’m sure are happy to help.

Just keep in mind the KB mentors are people who pass certain criteria like years of riding experience etc and that KB monitors who is on that list and have 2 Mods in charge of that.
