Turangi's right beside Lake Taupo, mate. In fact, if you go skiing at Mt Ruapehu, one of the popular ski fields is called Turangi. But yeah, it's in the vicinity of Taupo and all those nice mountains.

thanks Jen .. a couple of us are looking at heading over to top of south island one long weekend .. but I was referring to the Rimutaka Hill .. .... but yeah the taka hill is also on the list to do

will be good to see ya overhere .. can not subject us to 98 without some back up .. ohh yeah cola will just give him a man hug & that will keep him quiet
