House warming/friendly lunch BBQ

Ok, I'm not one for piss ups but a friendly get together I wouldn't mind!

RSVP only, so you have to let me know if you are coming - no gate crashing. Partners/Girlfriends/Boyfriends/Wifes/Husbands welcome to come along as well.

I will try to provide sausages, bread, and some drinks

Sober people (especially drivers) only, and if theres something in particular you want to eat or drink then bring it :P

I will use this post to update who's coming and what is going on.

When: June 17
Where: My place in Hornby (RSVP Only)
What: BBQ 1:30pm; 3-4pm ride out to Esplande bar in Brighton for live music and more bbq
Bring: Yourself, Your partner, any food and drink you want in particular, and your bike

Cool, sounds good to me! Perhaps respond to people's PMs with the address too

I'll be a starter, not sure about my partner yet. Will depend on which weekend it is, and which day... I'll let you know on that one.

From numbers you can work out how to solve your seating problem too, gotta be room for each bum to sit (some need more room than others!

) Even if you pick up old sofas destined for the dump just for the occasion, should do the trick.

Well I didn't put my address on purpose.

But I am in Hornby for those who need to know the general area.

I will work out seating once I know who's coming. Might just be a lot of deck chairs in my yard, drive and garage haha

I could well be in, never met ya, but perfect oprtunity.
Got a few things on over the next few weekends, so 16th and 23rd would be out for me.

, I lived in Hornby from 97 to 05, great area with all the stuff ya need. And finally they seem to have got that mall kinda right.

Other wise we's guess we'll see ya about somewhere, if not there.

As another Hornbyite, I am keen to bounce along. You decide the day then PM address to me/us. The will be one or two of us depending on which day.
At least a line up of bikes in Hornby won't cause the neighbours too much grief.

How does this sound for everyone -

June 17th - 1:30pm at my place for for bbq (I'll buy a bundle of bread and sausages and some drinks) and chatting and around 3-4pm group ride to Esplande in Brighton where they have live music and a bqq (anyone been to that btw?) for those who want more grub.

Sounds pretty solid to me, I'm pretty sure I'll be free on the 17th. If I bring my bike my partner can't come, because I'm on my restricted... but she has no gear anyway so that's beside the point. But meh, doesn't matter, she'll probably be happy to go and see her parents anyway, so I'll come.
