I'm a poor hungry student that can't pay to have a mechanic repair his crap. Is there anyone around auckland who wouldn't mind giving me a hand sorting out my 92 zxr400?
I think I need to reset the cam chain tensioner if not replace it and the cam chain all together (was quoted $800 by a motorcycle shop)
worse still, on the odd occasion I can't engage 2nd (usually when I'm kaning it). Are there any spare gear boxes that you guys have lying around that I could raid for bits?
I'm in need of discs aswell, so if anyone's got some spare ones that they wouldn't mind parting with for cheap ($300ish is what i'm hoping for), I'd be keen.
If there are any other random spare parts out there that people aren't fussed about parting with I might be keen to pick them up, what have you guys got?
I'm about to parade around the wreckers for the same list of things, but thought I might post here first as they're not urgently required just yet.
