Move everything around at once, dont forget to change 20% of the water. Do this then add any new fish at the same time or there will be no point!

ooh fishies! I'm keen to get a couple of fish, i enjoyed it when i had razor, the goldfish heh... just that i tend to go away heaps, and don't want the little ones to die!

i loved watching the fish in the unitec vet reception when i was there last week though, they're all so cool! they got new ones too, i cant remember the names, but some were like the ones that you have disco... then they had an angel fish which tends to attack all the smaller ones, he's really old and has his own territory which he never lets any of the others into... which is difficult for the others coz its right in the middle of the tank lol...

Heres what is up for grabs... [snip] ...about a dozen Xiphophorus hellerii (swordtail).
Nice tank. Those swordtails sound good but our tank is full and balanced.

A marine tank is more work to keep balanced isn't it?

Much more work. Constant monitoring and much more complex. After keeping many biotypes its time to enter into marines!

I wouldnt if I was you... "ornamental" fish usually have had all sorts of chemical medications pumped into them over the years, compound that with selective breeding and their diet.... you end up with fish I would not even feed my cat.
