Did you even watch the video? It's pretty clear it was either taken or had fallen [wrenched] off. No way did Bush have the time to take it off and put it in his pocket. [EDIT: Actually it turns out it wasn't stolen]

It was on the TV news last night. Another camera shot clearly shows Bush taking his watch off, and putting it in his pocket.
