howdy,
i have a mate in italy who lives walking distance from the brembo factory and can get a set cheaper than i can and so was wondering if anyone out there knew of sets/part numbers appropriate for a VJ21?
Thanks, Chris

I just bought a pair of Brembo calipers for my GSXR. From what I gathered there are really only a few different mounting sizes available, for example 40mm and 65mmm pitch (distance between mounting bolts). You select which one you want (the 65mm are slightly bigger brakes) and buy the appropriate mounting brackets. I don't think Brembo make mounts so you'll have to do a search. Not too sure of you finding something off the shelf.
Pretty flash hoses you got there bro![]()
Wireless don't you know. It's the latest thing, confuses the fuck out of WoF inspectors but saves on brake fluid. I can sell you a pair if you like, but they are not cheap.
Ah ha you have posibly answered a question I was going to post. Is it possible to mount calipers using additional brackets if the mounting holes are not the same.
Is the black anodised bracket onearmbandit has aftermarket? Would it be silly to think I could make up a bracket to fit calipers with 75mm mounts to a fork leg with 100mm mounts?
Thats the smell of desire my lady..

Yup, the bracket is aftermarket, brandname is "Active", I picked them up in Japan along with the calipers. Got them anodised over here though. Not sure what the requirements are re certification, but then my brother owns a workshop so I'm sweet and I don't intend selling this bike.
hhmmm...sounds like it could come together.. but i'm guessing because the calipers are in a different place i'd have to get new brake lines aswel wouldn't i?

In my case I did have to, depends on each application I suppose.
If you've got rubber ones, you should be able to stretch them the extra two inches down.
