Replacing an indicator

g'day all,

The front right indicator on my Zeal got squashed yesterday and needs to be replaced. A new one has been ordered and I was just wondering how difficult is it to replace. Is it a matter of unplugging this and that and re-plugging the new one, or is it a job for the experts?

While on the subject of indicators, my friends' 1980 Honda C90 is not indicating properly. The left indicates and beeps fine, but the front right doesn't indicate and has a constant beeeeeeeep (with no break). This just came on out of the blue. Anyone had any similar problem, and perhaps a fix??

Easy.
Undo, unplug, replug, that sort of thing.

Im sorry to say Ron that replacing that indicator is a MAJOR job
First you need to remove the headlight and then the engine --Best ya just give the bike away.
ER um now seriously --remove the headlight glass (2 screwsat sides/bottom) unplug the wires from the old one /plug the new wires in and bingo.
RE C90 The issue may be the solenoid connections--I think those old 6 volt bikes had a seperate plug for each side
