When is a "newbie" not a "newbie" anymore??

Did not even realise that I had to announce me self here.

OK, so here I am. Been there and managed to have someone do that for me.

    What else?
1- Is there a band better then Disturbed?
2- Is there a drink better then JD and Dry?
3- Is there any reason to go past 150K?

    Hmmmm...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Well, you don't. Just turn up dude and enjoy the ride in KB.

Never heard of the band. Bring back the Eagles.
Cold beer on a hot summers day with the BBQ fired up.
Is there any reason to go past 140km when it means bye bye licence... or your life?

p.s. Posting in KB on a nice fine riding day is illegal and incurs a fine of 12 cold beers.

Fastest driving I ever did was to two fires.... a bus and a house fire. My brakes were almost on fire when I got there. ah... those were the days!

    I agree to the TS!!

    And to the wine.

But the speed thing? To reverse a common saying "You takes your choice and you pays your money"

So.... "How rich do you feel punk?" (Sorry Clint!)

Only ever sped when it justfied 'really urgent' urgent duty driving.... and always by the book In both cases the end justified the means.

I'm pretty sure that's not an Eagles song. Don Henley brought that one out as a solo effort, although the Eagles did do in in their Hell Freezes Over tour.

I was brought up listening to the Eagles, Beatles, Seals and Croft, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, etc. You'd probably like all that stuff Guy!

Oh and Conquiztador - welcome to KB! Disturbed are pretty good but not the best.

There is a place for 150km/hr - and very rarely is it on the public road. there are a few exceptions but they're getting harder and harder to justify the older I get.

And there's only one truly exceptional drink - and it comes from the Isle of Islay.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

3- Is there any reason to go past 150K?

No reason at all, but humans being what we are, will, and do many unreasonable things. Some we get away with, others bite us in the arse.
I still believe we should way up the risks/affect it has on others, and hopefully come to a mature decision in most if not all cases.
Sadly, not every one can comprehend what common sense is. Such is life.
