Funny you should mention us. It was supposed to be top secret, only to be released at the new model launch on 9th Oct.
You're all welcome to come and sit on it. Reservations a must.

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I've found the source. Well, the site that's claiming credit for the original post.

It's Black Echo's American Angst, a site run by a bloke called Christopher Shields, who has a bit of a thing against Harleys.

You may like to go on his site and give him some shit but be warned, he gives every bit as good as he gets, and is very good at insulting back.

He wrote an interesting piece called Why Harley Davidson isn't a real American motorcycle which has provoked Harley riders into some incredibly intense vitriolic emailing. However, he has replied to most emails in the most hilarious fashion possible. Check it out, its funny as hell.

Just don't try and take it too seriously, life's too short.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Oh dear,he's a bit sick I think,I couldn't read more than a couple of paragraphs, but I kinda get the idea, how on earth he can keep the speel going and not run out of steam...oh yeah,he's American eh?.There's a line about he who doth protest too much...I'd say he has more problems than those he runs down.

Cheers for the links Cno6. Particularly like this...

"We've all seen that bumper sticker: If God rode a motorcycle, it would be a Harley. I thought to myself......now I know why God hasn't made His second coming..... He's still stuck in a cornfield out in Nebraska or somewhere waiting for parts!"

Its a 2004 model, I got it last Novemeber, did a bit of Chrome on it before I took it out of the shop.. I am impress with how it looks.. but I reckon my wifes 1995 Sporty will turn more heads when I finally get it out of the shed and on the road again, it is going through an exstensive face lift....
