Gday from across the pond (urban skippy)

    hey,
in hope you dont have to be a kiwi to be member!
im from sydney, saw the site in a search and thought it looked pretty interesting!
ive only been riding 18months, done all my p's time on a VTR250, and just brought a VTR1000 firestorm, 2005 model with a couple of extras. im into any and all sorts of riding, ive done everything from freeways, to endless twisties to dirt tracks through rainforests on the wee 250.

    anyway have a good one!

    cheers
    dom

An Aussie trying to get onto our Kiwi site- you guys trying to steal this off us now! p/t

Welcome to the madness. Theres plenty of good info in here, and plenty of B/S but some of it is hilarious, enjoy.

mmm Firestorm, test rode a few of those and thought about getting one, but the smoother inline 4 of the CBR's won me over.

    Hi Dom, welcome to you!

I certainly would hope that one doesn't HAVE to be a Kiwi to join in the fun that KB is. I'm still a Newbie around here myself, but there is a lot of fun to be had chatting with everyone and some really good advice to be gained too.

I have a VTR250 as well, and I think they just rock for the "training wheels" period.

    And Firebird....Yummm!

Anyway, have fun, drive safe and send us some pics of your rides from time to time.

Gudday mate, glad to have you riding out our ways! I haven't been over the ditch yet - but when I do, hope some of your bikers can point me the right way!
