Poo's Team Racing VMCC rn2 "A mixed sortie"

After last rounds lack of racing due to the event been called off because of slippery track conditions...I was hoping to race this time...

Some how we made it to the track earily on saturday..and the bikes were already off the trailer..and on stands..we have launched an enquiry into how this could have happened..as it is against team policy to be this organised.

After banging some tyre warmers on both the bikes and fairying around for a bit...I moved my clipons forward a bit on advice of fellow team member Kickingzebra...and then swanned off to look at the track...which involved standing on the grandstand and looking from a distance...and yep...looks kinda how I rememer it...few rights some lefts...a few straight bits and some white lines,etc...and farkin cold!!!!!!

Team pit bitch sisterecho was sent to the jayracer37 pit to flirt with rising star Jay lawrence and try put him off his racing...which didn't really seem to have the desired effect,as Jayracer flirted back with equal ordasity to null any effect of sisterecho's flirting...although this wasn't a total disaster as Jay fell off numerous times during the day...including a warm up lap!! [seriously good little rider when he can keep it up though! so maybe he just needs some viagra??]

SS practise/qualifing: I went out and tried to remember the track...felt my way around trying to get a feel of the bike...its the first time I've run a 190 rear...so was expecting it to be alot different...it seemed to have a bit more side grip accerlerating out of turns...nothing but good could come of this I thought...as I can't race in SS I didn't qualify...lol

SB practise/qualifing: went out surrounded by bikes...big mistake...should have gone out at the end or shot out at the fron like NickO did...to much traffic and no clear laps...qualified 8th with a 1:14.883 right behind Mr Trash

SB race 1:wobbled out the gate for the warm up lap last...and cruized around for my 2 warm up laps trying to clear my head about the start coming up [I can't start for shit...and that is really an understatment!!] lined up on the grid...flag drops...lurch...lil wheelie..lurch..lil wheelie...fucker!!...finally got moving..lost a good amount of places..but..for some reason everyone brakes really early for the first corner...so I managed to sail around the outside of a fair amount of bikes and come out of turn one in fifth...sweet!!...front group is about 15 metres in front...so I put me head down and go!! cross the line on the second lap pulled them in a bit...well I think I did...and I'm sticking with that presumption...braking hard for the turn one hairpin...and fuck me camel...my right hand clipon screws forward a heap...I still turned in...and lifted the bike out of the turn pulled on the bloody thing as hard as I could to get it back straigh-ish...and pulled it to far back...and couldn't move it back forward again...so I was riding around some corners with my hand off the bar a lil bit to stop my thumb from being jammed in between the frame and the clipon...with no throttle...till the bike was straight-ish again...this annoyed me a bit...and over the next laps till the finnish...I gradually lost places till I crossed the line in 8th...just a head of Trashy [who I might add had straight handle bars and no excuses!!!] during the second lap I did my best lap time of the day 1:13.544...I was very very pissed with my self about no tightening my clipon's properly...very grumpy...because everthing else felt good!!

SB race 2: I hate starts...hmm...straight into a dam 12 O clock wheelie from the flag...got passed by must have been 3/4 ofthe grid..lol..managed to gain shit loads of places back on the first corner again under brakes and around the outside..came around in 9th I think...race went okay...not much really happened..aprt from losing the front in splash/oddermat and by some mircle getting it back again off my knee [phew!]..was starting to feel tired during this race...had a real fun dice with Phill duxbury in the last 3 laps...trading places many times...only to be pipped by the sheer horsepower on his Gsxr1000k6 monster [with a smashing paint job I have to say!!] at the line...to round off the top ten.

I didn't compete in the second race...I was feeling to tired...and that I decided was just a good recipe for mistakes...expensive ones.

Big thanks to Kickingzebra and Bron, sisterehco for all your help and humour...thanks to the lynch pin on NZ motorcycle racing Robert Taylor for some much appreciated help [your after sale's service is awesome!!!]..

    Way to poo's.

You should do some cool wheelies while you're racing. then you'd get real cred...

Or crash lots.. that also gets cred.. of some sort. i think.. ask jay, he'll tell you

Dont mind saying you seemed pretty casual when I drifted past your pits and watched you yarning away all casual like, so the organisational overkill was well under control
