    Bigger wheels

Hi, I have just acquired a VN250 and am looking to upgrade the front 17" wheel with a spare 18" rim and tyre i have sitting in the garage. Whats the impact of this if any?

Anything else i should be considering?

Why exactly would you want to limit your tire choice with an 18" rim... the only reason I ask this is my FZR has a 18" rear, and I wish it was a 17" so I had a better choice in tires...

Well, the front end of your bike will be sittin ~1.3cm higher than standard. Don't know if it'll make that much difference as it's a cruiser and the front end isn't exactly very sporting anyhow.

Does the brake disc and all of that still line up OK? I would've thought that'd be the tricky bit.

Why exactly are you putting the 18" on? Just looks?

Slower steering, unless you fit a bigger disc the brakes may be worse and possibly not as good a tyre choice
