Righto mate..........be a good un for sure.........i am pretty familiar with the road.......and the area......my folks live about 2kms past the old hawkswood S bend..........ya missus will know were im on about.......5km south of were the conway store used to be............

For the Rapa Rumble committee members, some photos I took of Gladstone Backpackers... might be a goer.:

Pic one: Is the Hall - complete with darts board, bbq area, pool table.
Pic two: The driveway (heaps and heaps of parking available and all tarsealed)
Pic three: The hostel - sleeps 24 people.. 6 showers, 2 kitchens, and dining/sitting room
Pic four: The paddock infront of hostel.. for tenting etc.

Prices:

Single rooms: $40
Share Rooms: $35 pp
Double rooms: $50
Tent sites: $15pp
Unpowered sites: $10

Will look into these prices with the owners if we go ahead.

Just need a date..

Mawley Park mst: no motorbikes allowed
Riverleigh... Holdsworth: Not open in winter, unable to get hold of them.

There are places in Martinborough I am yet to go and see.

I think we may have found a winner! Nope it aint the hilton... but then most of y'all aint flash folks niether so I reckon it'll be fine. There's also a few activities planned to be available that'll be got into at a later date...

All that needs now is to get the date set and get PMing everybody you can think of to make sure people know about it!

Yep, looks like a good spot to me as well.

Would love to do the bike test ride/gear expo we had a few months ago again. But that could probably be it's own event.

That could well happen though it is a long way to ask them to bring the bikes. There will be another and bike show later this year with more bikes, hopefully more gear, and more people.
