What an epic trip.
Fourteen hours of riding and the best part of 700kms covered, no we weren't everaging 50 kilometers an hour, due to the following reasons:
(names will not be disclosed)

some chick hit a cow
some guy got a puncture
some gixer had a low side (low speed)
some guy lost his girlfriend

Set off at 6am, called into BP for some latex gloves (poor mans heated hand grips) and rode into the sunrise.

Picked up some guy on slicks in Rotovegas, i think his name was Wayne.....

Gassed up in Tauranga, cows on the old Te Aroha road, and Kornholio turned up, Kopu, Hikuai, then a puncture near Coroglen, so more waiting....

Someone had a priceless comment about the puncture repair kit rivaling themselves in the bedroom
"Yes, i just fizz away for about fifteen minutes"

Up to Whitianga, over to Coromandel for a gixer bin, down the west coast via Thames to Kopu. Back in Kopu we lost the jaffa riders.

We all shook hands with our comrades and it was all good until some muscle bound Maori guy tried to kiss me

The resident gay guy almost jumped in there.

Then back to civilisation where the guy who set his gf off early sent her to Matamata instead of Tauranga.
