    RG150 Speedo

Hey guys don't know if this really belongs in the electronics section but any help would be appreciated.

The speedo on my RG is out by about 10km/h (reading too high), how do I go about adjusting this myself? or does this require some kind of expertise/special equipment?

Thinking about sitting my restricted shortly and I thought it would be a good idea to actually know how fast I was going (accurately).

    Cheers!

RG150's are way more than 10km/h out... When they read 180km/h, they are actually only doing 150km/h...

The only way I'd suggest for adjusting it, get hold of a GPS and go through each speed setting: 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, etc, and get a new speedo card made by Repco or something with the speeds marked in the correct areas... has anyone done this, cause I was thinking of doing this but never got round to it...

Make woosh woosh sounds and pretend you're really doing that speed.

seriously - I borrow the wife's RG150 for going to work sometimes and I just live with it.

    It's about 15% out.
