    KBers in The Harold 20/6/07

In the SuperWheels section of today's Harold there's yet another article on Jayracer, but also featuring pictures of Nicko crashing, with White Trash and Two Smoker showing how you keep your bike upright through Splash!

Just saw it now. Very cool! Who's responsible for getting so much road racing coverage in that section of the Herald lately? That's Jay's second appearance in there that I can remember, and Sam Smith had a full front page shot as well.

How do I cope being 532 km away from those dreamy locks? *Sigh* It's difficult.

Good stuff on the nice positive media article (although reeks a little of the crash sensationalism...poor Nick and his Triumph...) Looked at the photo and thought "aaah if only I was racing this winter I would have been in the back of that photo..."
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "
