    Puppy love

Mrs Nudey and I decided about a month ago to sponsor a guide dog.
This is for 2 years and pays for all of the training it will receive to bring the dog up to spec for assisting blind people.
One of the reasons for this is that I've received so much support and help from people while going through my condition that I wanted to help others in any way I could.
Also, Mrs loves dogs (well, so do I) and thought this was the best way.

Anyway, we got our "Puppy Pack" today.
This is the puppy. Her name is Sacha.
    Ain't she cute.

It certainly is. To think in 2 years time, a blind person will have a fully trained guide dog that we helped to train is very rewarding.

    LMAO....what a hoot.
Yes, sometimes I get into bed and he's asleep on top of the blanket.
I go to move him so I can at least have a tiny bit of blanket but he gets annoyed that I'm disturbing him and the Mrs already has 3/4 of the bed (the diagonal thing like women do), so I get to have just enough to cover 1 shoulder. Gee, how fortunate I am !!

Good on you for sponsoring her, it'll be great challenge training her although it might be a bit hard saying goodbye at the end.

I have to say I'm a bit over puppies at the moment, working from home with 3 schnauzer puppies in the office has sort of slowed the output a bit! The little buggers have just learnt how to climb out of the box and I have to stop the high speed chair movements in case I flatten one!

Puppies with squashed possum tyre markings aren't that quick a seller.

Enjoy Sasha, we look forward to updates.

We only provide the financings for Sacha, we don't upbring her.
However, upon saying that, next time I'm in Christchurch I'm going to find out where she is and say gidday.

We will receive updates from the guide dog peoples and I'll be happy to share them here.
