I'm told the Police Complaints Authority take complaints like this quite seriously. If you had someone with you who could complain at the same time but independantly of you, I'm sure some action would be taken even if it was just a severe atomic wedgie.

The sooner the PCA is disolved and an a fully independent body is set up the better. The PCA looking into complaints against the police is no different to Homer Simpson looking in a mirror and saying "gee Homer, you're looking buff today"
