The place will be open from around 6pm if peple want to arrive early and have an ale or two.
What about food? BBQ on site. Shall we have a sausage sizzle or something like that too?
    What do ya think?

Yup - really good idea - has anyone got a BBQ they can take (easily) or more to the point, is there a place for the bbq??? How about a kitchen at the club??

Bit hard until we get an idea of numbers of course....

    Cheers

Got a big 4 burner bbq at the club so thats sorted. There is a kitchen available also so thats not a problem either.
There is a deck and outside garden area for us to use also and we will have tea & coffee available too.
Bangers & bread & maybe some steak sandwiches at a small charge eh?

    Thumbs up

Yep - we'll (2) be there but we will be late as I don't finish work until 7.

Btw for those of you who want to take advantage of the bar they train service is very good out to Tawa (that's what we'll be doing).

    See ya all there

For those of you that are planning on the train get off at Redwood, walk down to the BP service station and turn left onto Main Rd. Its about 200 metres down the road

Here's a map of southern Tawa. I'm 99% sure I've circled the right spot. Google Maps / smaps.co.nz will help you find Tawa. Go via the gorge of Haywards Hill.

Yeah that map is about right. Basically turn off the motorway, past dressmart, straight through the roundabout and its on your left.

Great idea for a venue, I played interclub there a few weeks ago and its by far the flashest Squash club ive ever been at.

Given I havnt met anyone from wellington KB and dont even own a bike again yet Ill sit this one out but good luck

Sounds like the ideal opportunity to me...

Hey Paul - how long will this go for? Only asking b/c I don't finish work in town until 7 and then we'll catch a train out which won't get us there until 8pm, is that gonna be too late?

    Cheers CSL
