Won't touch a drop of booze if I'm on the bike, I've been cleaned up by a meathead cage driver before and like to keep the odds on my side.

I'm only new to riding but feel I dont ride nearly as well after 2 beers. Strange how I could have a couple if taking the cage and feel no different.

    No brainer

Common sense says none, don't do it,but i have maybe 2 stubbies max, over an hour or so,in car maybe 2 pints, then get wife to drive as she might have one rtd to my 3 pints. She usually has 2 rtd's then won't drive so taxi is called.

dont partake in alcohol if im riding - but will enjoy one (with food) if driving a cage.

Ive seen some "enjoy" quite a few beers on a coro loop - obviously more immune to the effects than I am.

1 when riding, a few if driving....unless it's ginger beer and then it's 1 if it's Macs ('cos that's not very nice), but no limit on bundy's.

A couple through the day. Get to the rally/party. Park the wheels. Get all f**ked up on whatever takes my fancy. Laugh, lurch, piss and screw.

    I agree.

A handle half-way to where I'm going is it - and even then if I've not had anything to eat for a bit it will make my throttle twist too easily for the first 10 minutes or so if I get straight back on the bike after the drink.

Any more than a handle and the throttle return spring use to disappear. (That was a looong time ago I might add!)

None, but then I don't drink alcamahol, so thats easy.

I don't think its wise to drink on a ride, but people can decide for themselves... Although some rides just about seem to be pub crawls

Dont drink and ride. Others I ride with don't have a problem having a handle before returning home, I just stick with coke. I must admit to having some home made wine that was more like rocket fuel, riding home I kept mucking up the gear change. That was enough to scare me all those years ago so now I stay well away from that stuff.
