    Cleaning exhuast headers

    I have a full yoshi s/s exhaust system.

    I want to clean up the header pipes at some stage what would best route for this
    acid bath, then polished up some how?
    painted with some sorta paint or something.

    Just something i really have no idea about.

    Steelo Soap pads clean them up really well. If you want a real mirror finish you're welcome to come over this way and use our polishing wheel (gives a mirror finish to aluminium and stainless).

    i just had my whole system for my zx10 hpc coated inside and out looks good polished ali easy to keep clean gets heat out of pipes if you polish stainless ones up they dont last long

    welcome to the site bucket boy.

    Where in tga did ya get the hpc done?


    Dyers - they have a good 35,000kms on them i would guess, so just a simple crome polish isn't gonna cut the mustard at this point in time.

    Trumphy - cheers, hopeing there might be something that takes less elbow grease.

    I can sympathise with that..........that's why I suggested you do them!

    If you don't mind spending the money the I would strongly recommend going the HPC way, you won't be disappointed with the result.

    hpc coatings 0800 hpc tech my whole system was $200 inc courier u wont be dissapointed
