Another young hard charging Aussie in the mix....good to see.
If it rains, he could be worth a wild shot at the TAB!

Here are the odds if anyone here dabbles. Unusual for them to put them up this early now days.

The GP is Option # 491

    Choices are..

    #1-Rossi @ $1.80
    #2-Pedrosa @ $4.25
    #3-Stoner @ $3.50
    #4-Hopkins @ $20.00
    #5-Vermeulen @ $20.00 (could be good if it's raining!)
    #6-Capirossi @ $30.00
    #7-Melandri @ $30.00
    #8-Elias @ $40.00
    #9-Edwards @ $50.00
    #10-Hayden @ $65.00!!!!! Can't every recall a current champ featuring that badly...
    #11-Barros @ $80.00

Yeah the greedy pricks generally only let you bet on the winner. You can sometimes ask your local branch to phone head quarters and ask to place a one off bet....depends who you get on the day from what I've seen.

bet me too it, i read it on the Yamaha website saying that he has been released only because he was drafted in... would have been good to have him in WSS for a bit longer to help Yamaha fend of the Honda's, but it will be good to see how he goes in MotoGP.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

A couple of $$$s on West if it's raining (And Vermuelen) could be worthwhile!

It will be very interesting to see how he goes,I have my doubts about some aspects of the bike, De puniet,Jacque & the test pilot all get thrown off the thing on a regular basis,it seems to have power there or there abouts

I'm gonna stick a few on Hopkins and Vermeulen.....but realistically, I think Rossi will do the bizz here.
I wouldn't mind betting West will throw it down the road trying too hard.

I would guess that if he rides with the same ham fisted style he is using in super sport he will discover the Kawasakis high side very quickly.

No he is a very talented rider, but the way he pushes the bike I think the Moto Gp bike might bite if rides it the same way.
