    Me!
And I selflessley volunteer to ride

No really maybe make it like the Vic club scholarship bikes and vote a commitee to decide on a deserving rider.

Would have to decide between a focus on "giving it a go" for deserving riders or winning those with the best chance of a result or somwhere between.

Sounds like shitloads of thankless hard work, but may be worth it...

Well, A1GP have more than one driver...could work here too. Have someone racing in PMCC, someone in VMCC, someone in the SI series, Paeroa/Wangas, and the Cliffhanger Hill Climb. Obv there would be more in the way of ferrying the bike around, but with the right resources it could be done....couldn't it?

I am liking the idea very much, dont take me wrong, a big pool of talent to draw from for whoever needs it sounds wonderful! Perhaps we also need to establish exactly what form of help is required? Yes of course finance is always going to be required, but who actually needs what? Goblin says dolly brolley would be wonderful, shit even I can do that!.....LOL

skelstar seems to have an idea of what needs to be done, perhaps a spread sheet of needs/and one of abilities to share?

Ive been pushing this idea for quite some time.
My reasoning was simply the buying power we would have --Imagine the difference going into a tyre crowd n saying--YePI want 20 sets of PP's -5 asets of levers etc etc

Great idea.Would be interested in helping out, but not sure what I could do. Looks like the ideas been around a while, but it would be awesome to see TEAM KIWIBIKER RACING actually work some time in the future.Agree with Frosty and others that it should be open to more than one bike and one series, imagine the savings that could be made buying things in bulk.

I struggle to organise a bowl of rice and some tuna for dinner. Besides going to need someone who has at least done some racing.

I can provide some website services etc though.

Ok I am going to be the devil in this again, the reason perhaps that this idea has not worked in the past is simply because there has been no one prepared or able to drive it properly. Much as I would love to be able to my lifestyle/job/family does not allow the kind of time that would be required. It is a wonderful idea, but........maybe too many obstacles to be a sucess?

Lets wait more than 8 hours.

Hoping more people get excited about this than just folk who want a free bike to race.

LMAO, sorry did not mean to sound like I wanted to consign this to failure mate. I would love to see something like this take off and really benefit the people that are out there doing what I cant, but love to see!

I can do website shit, probably get the domain name and pages going and all that...sponsors logos and all that. I'll also be right in there pit-bitching if needed...get there early and all that!

What can you guys provide? Photographers? Welding guys? Caterers? Accountants? Project Managers?

    Roles can be quite varied.

    Just thinking aloud here.

I think it sounds good. I would help out where I could. Cant do much except take dodgy photos, provide chocolate and support.

This is a very cool idea, depending on where the bike is based, I can provide north island transport to the meetings I'll be racing at, which will be most.

I plan on doing the nationals, but since I'm on another guys bike, that comes down to him.

Re the rider, perhaps a smart type, could put the info of lap times, compared to average of the class they race in, then take into consideration the bike by comparison. For KB members already racing. I'd prefer to back someone, who has been willing to put the effort in themselves first.

The talent pool IS quite large on here, but I feel if you're aiming to win a national title, then there can be NO personal agenda considered.

My two cents, and usually worth less than two cents can buy at the corner dairy.
