Maybe not, Greg Newbold "The Big Huey" criminologist has just released a new book. His studies indicate that jails do nothing to rehabilitate 80% (I think) The problem is the environment they grow up in.

Unfortunately the bastard isn't allowed to be executed. He should, however, have his sentence doubled for for trying to drag this kind of crap through the courts.

If they did they wouldn't get my vote. I have a fundamental objection to the taking of life in a non combat/defence situation. The State lowering itself to a premeditated murderer is nothing to be proud of.

Let's not argue that point here, just my stake in the ground (I'll happily talk about it in a dedicated thread however... I'll talk till the cows come home...)
