    Effing Arse!!!!!!!

Could get them in to court to have them assessed again - at my expense... and they might say the $3.33 is even too much... FFS!

Option 2 is see if they have a car that might be able to be taken in lieu of debt... Hmmmmmmmmmm........

If $10 is too much it must be too expensive to run a car!! surely .

Just take the current average interest rate on a bank loan, and work that out over the 12 years it will take them to pay back that $2,000.

Then present them/the court with a invoice/bill for that too.

    It's only fair, surely?
Fair? Yes it would be... but you can't charge them interest for anything... including the overdraft fees that I copped because their payments were dishonoured... But TT aint fair...

Until I take the car... then see how quick they can come up with what is owed to me, virtually instantly... Via WINZ perhaps???

Yep... Hopefully they have one, so I can help save the running costs for them on that...

Courts advise we can only apply to the Court (after a further 48 hours after the Adjudicators ruling), for an order for them to be bought before the court to assess their means to pay and/or to seek a distress warrant so we can seize the new car they have just bought, which was bought coincidentally on the day before the first day of rent due was missed!!!

Being an old schooler, I just want to go around and pick them up by the scruff and throw them out the door right now. (I am happy to leave it closed as I do so and pay for the damage afterward myself, as I would consider it money bloody well spent!!!), but the law says I can't do that.

Does anyone else have any real suggestions???
Had a lady at work who looks after her daughter's renter in Dunedin and one tenant has broken several doors and police raided the place (after the tenant had burglerised other property) and found seven yobbos in the room sleeping. She had to get the tenant to sign an agreement to get out immediately and she would fix up damage at her cost (she and husband did it).
Took all of seven hours to get a hold of this fella and he moaned and groaned but signed and left. Door locks changed immediately. So the direct approach may be an option as worked in this instance.

Glad to hear you're using the legal tools which are available to you.

It really shits me when low-lifes start to game the system.
