    All teenage movies in the eighties had Molly Ringwald in them, didn't they ?

    Ferris Bueller was probably my favourite of the time.

    As for music, Psychedelic Furs, Devo, Simple Minds' music seemed to appear in every movie and I have kept all my old records in the hope that I'll one day get another turntable ( what a sad bastard I've become )

    I love Breakfast Club and Ferris Buellers day off...Though I generally like most older movies going right back to along time before I was born. Another 80s favourite for me is The Princess Bride.
