Well, hopefully this weekend, I'll be picking up my TWO minimoto bikes! Red and Yellow ... oh yes... the fun to be had...

And of course, fixing up the rides so I can merrily pootle around! 5 days and no bike riding... I'm getting twitchy ..

I know EXACTLY how you feel!!!
And I have only been in the school for 3 weeks (but prior to that I was at uni and had exams! no break for us this time!)

But arghhh some of the kids in my class.. well.... one drives me up the wall! Lucky I can joke about it with my associate!!

And a holiday?!?!?!! ummm I have the next months worth of planning to get onto!! We are starting the topic of flight, will be super fun though!! And also they are writing speeches!!

And yeah it is so worth it when they finally get it aye! Some never will.. Joyce... but others just make your day

(and they tell me I look pretty!! hehe)
I'm gonna make it so PC

You refer to the fact that the semester is over. *thank goodness*

No... it's a prison sentence... so it's a term! (so why does my school use Term One/Two/Three/Four?) Actually I'm still on the clock since I'm getting my shirt ironed etc. for the school ball tonight. Sheesh. I can think of better things like... the rugger ... the yachting ... Guess I'll do what is usually done. Quickly nip out and watch it in the bar where there shouldn't be any students around!

Prob is... I'm the only male teacher there. Doh.

I keep telling people that my ultimate job will be as Phys Ed teacher at an all-girl school.
The really stupid thing is that people think I'm joking!

Actually I was on practicum (another term of service where you wander around a school and try and not get in the way!) at St. Cuthberts school for girls. Seriously scary place. Not normal like public schools, very posh and ... disturbing. I had to walk past the toilet areas with eyes straight ahead since they seemed never to be closed!

And walking up the staircases... had to keep eyes down at all times or stare into vacant neutral space

I think you would do well in that place mate as their PE teacher!

    I teach and ride!

Teaching, marking, poor behaviour, stress be gone!
I teach, ride and live. The first two provide the last!
Monday I'm off to ride in Aussie, makes all the hassles slide away.
Keep up the good work 'gi' and get those bikes moving again!
May the inspiration return! Good luck with the ball duty!
    Cheers -

You sound far too chipper to be a teacher! I guess it's something to do with deserting our fair shores for dryer climes! I bet you'll end up landing a primary school job there (only work for four days before getting a three day layover! Or is it the other way around? What a life!)

Try not to rush back too fast - you know the parents who've gone over with their sprogs will be back late for the start of next term anyways!

Try not to use your holiday to provide learning experiences for your lesson planning!
