    A thank you thread!!!

i know there have been a few threads like this but im going to do one of my own!!!

from the 1st day i arrived in this country not quite two months ago i have recieved so much help and support from KBers it is has been somewhat overwhelming. for you kiwis and people that have been living here for some time it might seem natural, but for me and where i come from and have been living this sort of thing never happens so i would like to say a big THANKYOU to the people that have gone out of their way to help this pom!!!

when i 1st got here mr and mrs busa pete put themselves out to help me on my way (you know what you did) and THANKYOU!
DMNTD and UNIT, THANKYOU also for breaking up my journey and the riding tips you gave me, they have proved very helpfull (although people have been giving me strange looks while i keep trying to kiss my mirrors when im riding lol)
MSTRS and yungatart a big THANKYOU, for putting me up for a few weeks untill i got my stuff together, how you managed to put up with me for so long i will never know!!!
mcjim and chickadee, was good to meet you two this weekend and THANKYOU for putting me up friday night and spending your valuable time running me about yesterday much appreciated!!!

mack the knife also THANKYOU, you spent a few hours of your time yesterday helping me out when you were obviously very busy, your advice and help was much appreciated too!!!

if i have missed anyone out then i am very sorry, but as i said before it has been somewhat overwhelming for this pom to see and experience all this genorosity and helpfullness from a bunch of complete strangers, so once again THANKYOU to all that have helped me on my way!!!
i wouldnt want to be caught dead in the same grave as me.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Most welcome

    You're Welcome Leigh,

Twaz a pleasure to help where we could. Glad you could handle a house with two little blokes, lots of kiddy chaos to be enjoyed!

I think the biking community is great, there's folks looking out for/after one another and doing their bit for the greater good.

Enjoy the new wheels, hope you get the bike sorted - such a bugger that a few things were needing done when you bought it, I bet that wouldn't happen if the biker was a fellow KBer!

Ride safe and hope to see you again in the future

Dude, looking out for people is what we all do on - 'twas a pleasure to have your company - especially since you didn't take the piss out of my cage driving skills on Saturday.

Gald you found your way back. Did you use Highway 1b from Taupiri to Cambridge?
