Man! Now I know why you eat so much away from home! You don't get any 'cause of your sprogling!

Jinkies, they must've borrowed somebody elses mould to make the ones you and your son came in!

Congrats on the team for bringing home the win, it was a game of two halves and at the end of the day, the right result was won.

so Col... when will he land his professional playing contract and use some of the dosh to buy his dear old dad a new two wheeler of freedom?

Nice work Col. You must be real proud. Hopefully one day he'll be able to support his frail old man.

See! All that scowling and muttering under your breath as you watched your brood devour all the hard-earned food you put on the table has born fruit!

Sure, you made have missed the last helping or even the main course 'cause you turned your head at the wrong moment.

Sure, you muttered when you had to take out a second mortgage for the groceries and as soon as it is in the cupboards, its gone.

All those liniments, cold compresses, wet soggy days in gumboots filled with water from the sideline...just so you could watch him grow up and do something he enjoyed.

Good on you hard-working and caring parents. If I get one of my bikes up and running in time - I'll come down with a whole bag of chicken wings courtesy gratis from me just for you to eat! (and you know I'm crazy enough to actually do it! )

Just remember to tell your son those immortal words from Han Solo ... "Don't get cocky!" hehehe.

    Congrats Jeff!
    Well done!
Congrats too, Col! Even though you say you didn't do anything, I bet you encouraged him, supported him, drove him, watched him play, fed him (doh, thats obvious!), loved him, disciplined him and kept his dream alive!
Yep, you"ve done enough for a mallowpuff!
