AWNR - Auckland Wednesday Night Ride

The wind and rain must of put everyone off last night as there was only 4 bikes

It didn't rain while we were at the car park (did before), but the evening was spent discussing tips and tricks for riding in the wind and wind gusts, riding positions ... even how stable the bike is when parked and best angles to park on slopes etc

No matter how good or bad the weather there is always something new to learn.
Hope to see YOU there next week

The only excuse that will be accepted for not turning up would be if one had a new bike they didn't want to get wet.

Indeed, however we need to see where things are going or not re mentoring before we change the post.
E.G not officially mentoring.

Nights go ahead either way.

A few beers need to be consumed, and chins need to be waged before we can go ahead with changing anything. This is still a democracy run by the attendees.
Especially if Mods are going to merge the thread any way.
Perhaps you could talk to a mod about getting ownership of the first post changed if you want to not be involved anymore?
