I went with the m50 in the end.
This is more of a mentor evening than anything. Check busys post for weekly summaries (he writes them so nobody else can drop him in it).
There is a 1/2 hour ride from Westgate to Albany, then a session in the Placemakers Albany carpark, then onto Bar Africa for a debrief, Busy's innuendo and Big Dogs farting.

I'm sure some female participants wouldn't mind. One saw Quasi at the Cheese Cutter ride and thought he was a little bit tasty.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
aaggghhh wht does it always seem to rain on a bloody Wednesday night?
Well - at leats we know the tough ones will be there.
(yep - thats a childish challenge)
Hey EJ - I got you a present!
I wont be there tonight so someone will have to do the summary for me.
Have fun, learn lots and keep the rubber side down

a big thanks to all for last night, especially Mac, BD, and the guy on the Triumph(sorry, too many names to remember). Hopefully see you all there next week.
OK 5 bikes met in Helensville me, Jay and the EJ complete with his new Restricted licence (no more $400 L plate fines for him), Devil (he was the guy on the Triumph), and Maverick popped into say Gidday but wasn't coming to Albany.
Devil came via Riverhead whilst the rest did the Greenheith route.
About 8 bikes in total at Albany.
We worked on cornering techniques, best lines and how to corner with different road surfaces.
Once we were getting around the corner, we went onto emergencey braking - an always useful exercise.
On to Bar Africa where there was a good turnout as usual. Intelligent and thought provoking conversations were had by all. Obviously Busy was not there so things were kept well out of the gutter all evening.
A little tattoo show and tell was had which was interesting viewing, piercings were mentioned but kept well out of site (Thanks).
Quiz - Guess who has a smurf tattooed on their arse?

bugger, i guess i left too early eh? damn curfew!
Hey everyone!
I heard you guys did a meet up for mentor riding/advice giving and increasing my skills is something I could really do with (newbie. nuff said.).
I was just wondering what you guys actually did on the Wednesday nights as in excerises/ ride routes? Just I could probably do with a kick and a point in the right direction right about now, or just shown what I'm doing wrong in general would be awesome.
Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks
Mike
