Not so much the distance of the ride as I go out on my own quite a bit. Just coming home in the dark and been tired etc. Work 2 jobs and have 4 kids so it is more a time issue. But thanks for the offer. Will concider it for next week.

    Hey!
I was wondering what car park in Albany you guys use?
Just wondering because its a heck of a lot closer for me (I'm on the North Shore) and I will be free Wednesday week after next and it would be great to practice with people who know what their doing.

    Hopefully see you guys soon.

did anyone actually get pulled over?
or were they just driving randomly around and parking up next door?

Good effort tonight everyone! Interesting to see peoples natural reactions when it came to decision making and judgement calls.

Sometimes when you are riding you have to block out the thinking process, (use prepherial vision where needed sometimes) if you overthink you can make some situations worse because by the time you think about what step to take next it could be too late... you just have to feel the bike look ahead and follow it.

Wont be making it on wed nights anymore....keep riding safe out there!!!

Thanks to Mack, BD, and Kitty for another good night.Who would have thought that having cones thrown at you while trying to avoid the person standing in front of you could be so much fun! Was I the only one to get pulled over? First to leave i guess.

so what did they pull you over for or did they call it a 'routine' check? anyone else get pulled over? when i dropped in for all of the two minutes that i was there i noiticed a few police hanging around and when i left i was followed for a little bit from the top of bush rd but not pulled over at all. what a waste of police resources yet again..... maybe you guys are having to many hot chocolates before riding home again
    Come on, Toshi, come on!

I think you may have been the only one however they moved around and could have picked up elsewhere .....Like Aaron said what did pull you up for?

just a breath test, nothing major. luckily i'm huge and can have at least six beers before it registers on their silly little alcoholometers.

(oh wait, no i'm not. lucky i only had a wee small beer. L licence and all.)
