Saw it in the early 70's when I was damn near as stoned as they were. It was cool but then I was only 15. Saw it recently, havn't been stoned for years, yup its an oldie but it aint all that bad.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

bbbbbut what about when the camera just goes around in circles and does hippy head shots for like an hour and a half.
Then I wanted to gangster slap most of 'em. WTFU ;-)
I watched and enjoyed in the 70s too, never got that f***** up though. Like Coke and stuff - pass. (which im sure is not what you mean)
It's second watching syndrome. With the exception of a few - Life of Brian, matrix (it took me 2 goes to get it - sorry), there are not many movies I've enjoyed 2nd time anyway.
Easy Rider is without doubt the iconic biker movie. It spawned the chopper craze and told the story of the hippie movement. These weren't the Hell's Angels types. They were just guys doing what we do everyday with an attitude that matched the times. The ending said it all..............how much bigotry there is for those with a different attitude. That movie is still relevent today............probably more so.
