The coro loop is treacherous and I hav been tipped off that there is clay n debris on the road sides, so hoon at ur own risk. Cheers.
Awesome show of Maturity there Raj. Good to see ya laying down the ground rules so everyone knows where they stand..or in this case, ride!...

Aha I'm back "in record time" first of the lot !! nah actually colin was kind enuf to flick a stone at my radiator just as we reached kopu, so it had a trickle leak. My newest friend promptly removed a pair of plyers n clamped the leak, Im buyin u a beer next ATNR ! I proceded home after that (alone ) As i reached Albany I stopped the bike n checked it over. The amazing thing had stopped leaking. (gotta love bikes when they fix themselves) and was cooling down properly when idled etc.. consulted FireFight since hes been riding R6's since I was 2

The Weather was so freekin good/dry/sunny that after eating a burger at BK I had to ride n even more so since my bike appeared to be okay. Well I did the riverhead road then proceeded on to Welsford and rode that too..........twice Met a few bikers at the scenic lookout and even got my knee down !! ... pictures shortly.

I'm exhausted now Hope u all had a good ride, and had an uneventful day, personally the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

Im happy I didn't do the coro loop today, I had a bad feeling about it when i started today morning. I took the radiator thing as a sign, and proceeded for a ride in less treacherous conditions.

O n next time Colin, u ride behind me

Raj, good to know you got home fine without any further dramas - but you went out for more? You sure are keen as man! hee hee... next time you should go infront or ride in a staggered formation.

Leong, thanks for leading mate! ozrobo, puddy and the rest - nice meeting ya all!

To that guy on the CBR400RR, well done - first KB ride and only been riding for four months. Take it easy, and remember, experience counts

Had a great time, no bins! nice day, nice ppl, awesome twisties - cheers!!
in order to appreciate a good steak, you should eat the occasional greasy hamburger.

Glad you got home OK Raj, and looks like you're OK to commute tomorrow too, though you'd better get it fixed properly before the next out of town ride.

Good weather today, roads mostly damp on the loop, but some fun to be had. Spent the day with Duckaddict, Puddy (love that K7) and OzRobbo - good to meet ya (Mate). Hope you got home OK Breakaway. And the burgers at Coroglen were as good as we remembered. Did the loop anticlockwise and the road on the Thames coast wasn't too bad, but lots of traffic though. Lots of bikes out today - lots went past when we were stopped at the Kopu Tavern.

Interesting coming back thru Monument Road. Another group caught us up leading into the windy bit so they must have been going at reasonable pace. Saw the motard and an R6 in my mirror but we were in the windy stuff, so I thought it'd be difficult for them to pass anyway, so I went for it. After the twisties I looked back and they were quite a wee way behind!!! Think that might qualify as giving them the learn??? That'd be a first!! I slowed and pulled over a bit on the straight to wait for the others and the motard and R6 both wheelied past!! I think they enjoyed it too!!
