    The evil eye?

I just watched a torrent of EuroSport coverage of race 1 of the San Marino WSBK round. During the race the camera panned left to show some guy on a scooter wearing a red open faced helmet and a blue shirt. I picked who he was immediately, as did the photographers snapping pics of him. But the dumbarse commentators didn't figure out who he was.... he rode off down the access road to another point on the circuit.

A few minutes later, Biaggi tried a BAD pass up the inside of Haga at "150mph" (according to the commentators). Biaggi contacted Haga and they both went down. Haga was PISSED!! He was waving his arms and kicking stones at Biaggi, who was lying in the foetal position. One angle of the slow-mo replays clearly showed our friend in the red helmet, with his blue shirt on.... a big emblem with crossed tuning forks on the back...

Have you figured out who it was yet? I wonder if the guy practices vodoo....

The commentators I listed to figured out who he was and made the comment that the track isn't far from his home town.

No I tried but can't get one. I'm not sure why but I can't do a screen capture on VLC media player.

Yeah, wasnt too sure you could really blame Biaggi too much for that crash, maybe 50/50 I thought. Blame the crap track, used to be awesome, now seems a bit crappy with very few places to pass. Rossi was also scoping it out to see what it was like as it was the first big race run on the revised circuit. Bet ya Rossi pulls off passes at that point of the track!
