Well! What day it's been! I'm completely knackered.. spent hours sorting out the gargre before watching various KB personalities pull up on their trusty steeds!
Just helped Xerxesdaphat sort his ride out and he is meandering on home now!
Just had to post this up before going to beddy bye byes! Will do the big write up tomorrow ... er today later
Big ups to all those turned up and braved the cold winter night!![]()
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"![]()
Hahaha, I turn up, and everybody else pisses off! Is my face that offensive?
Well we had a go at attaching the Hornet's new carbon fibre front guard -- but it needs some cement to set, so we moved onto my bike. Built up a wonderfully Meccano-style bracket for my new round speedo, mounted the ignition barrel, re-routed cables, the choke, and had all sorts of fun with drill presses and hacksaws.
The thing bloody works too. However, on the way home, the thing began to squeal deafeningly -- certainly too loud to use. So I have the thing back in pieces and soaking in some WD40 in the hopes that'll fix it. I'll ask questions in the appropriate speedo thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=52921 in the hope of fixing it.
Otherwise, what a wonderfully productive night! Cheers GiJoe1313, you're a pretty clued up fellow.
So, see you all tomorrow at the minimoto![]()
