    New HGTTG radio series

Knowing how many fans there are here of good British comedy thought I'd post this incase you hadn't already come across it.

    HGTTG - New series

There are two new series, made from the final 3 books in the trilogy. They've used the surviving original cast members, and even Adams himself has a part as Agrajag.

There's two shows for each episode, and then it's available to listen to for a full week, which is fantastic for us on this side of the planet. Didn't manage to time things right to listen to the first show today, so I'll probably wait till the weekend and then listen to it at lesure.

Glad they've stayed true to the original concept and by the looks of things true to Adams form. I find nothing worse than "remakes" etc.

    Anyway enjoy.

BTW - Does anyone have the original two radio series, that I could grab a copy of? Used to have them on my computer til one of my hdd's crashed, and of course I hadn't backed them up to disk.

Ummm, I'd imagine Agrajag is a non-speaking part coz Adams is just a little bit more dead than he used to be.

(Well... maybe if you turn it right up and listen really really hard...)

    Sedge.

    Agrajag, eh.

I remember the 'aha!' moment when I did, indeed, finally find out why the flowerpot thought what it thought.

It was particularly good, in retrospect, given that DNA was just making it up as he went along.

    hehe.

Sodge - It's a speaking part. They've used audio recording he did of the books.

Damn I'm looking forward to this.

I should really investigate programs which can grab streeming audio so I don't have to go looking for these eps again later.
