Don't know whether you lot heard about the Brisbane guy who cut off his staffy's ears with SCISSORS (!!)

That bastard has just got three months jail - good friggin job.

I suspect he will get a fair bit of jungle justice while he is in the nick, as lots of them inside are keen on their dogs or so I've heard. Let's see how he likes being small and defenceless while a bigger being causes him pain and mutilation.

His excuse was he wanted the puppy to look fierce so no one would steal from him.

The idiot cut off the ears at the base of the skull, we're not even talking "cropping" - though that is offensive enough.

Poor pup has gone to a loving home, but because he has no flaps whatsoever, he'll suffer a lifetime of ear infections.

I wonder if he would have got jail time in NZ? I hope he would have, I can't remember, but I think the Aussies might be one up on us on this sort of thing.

Damn shame you can't do to criminals the exact crime they did to their victim.

Similar crimes have been committed here in New Zealand. From memory involving hoodie losers and their ridiculous penis-substitute "fighting" dogs. But I struggle to remember the sentences handed down.

i once saw a "man" kicking a german shepherd puppy, so i went up to this "man" and punched him (i am NOT a violent person, believe me)!!! he was surprised (obviously) and asked why the fuck i did that?!?! my retort? "didnt like that did ya? well the puppy dont like being kicked!"!!!

Possibly not.. I've never heard of any Lion Man. But cats in the States and Canada are routinely declawed. Obv some of them are done barbarically, but its not always so. My aunt's cats are declawed. They're house cats though, and never go outside. It isn't common practice to let them outside, from what I've heard.
