There's no way a woman would have left herself wide open like that. She would have had a foolproof alibi. Her so-called friends must have designs on the poor husband themselves, a-la 'Desperate Housewives'
The guy, on the other hand, wouldn't have informed his mates about said shenanigans, but they instinctively know to stick up for their mates, even if they stuff it up.
The moral of this joke (and its a good chuckle, btw) is that if you feel a pain in your back, turn around and find a knife sticking out of it, chances are its a woman that put it there.

Only have 2 real friends...and both have been properly briefed prior to the said "escapade" and can therefor echo your version f the events...
