    Chch Ride 26th Sept

Well I'm getting my fairings back tomorrow and the forecast is looking good for sunday. Just wondering if any other kber's want to join me on a ride.

Not quite sure where we can meet but I'm keen to go for a blat to Akaroa and back (weather dependent). I'll sort out a meeting point and post it up here sometime tonight or tomorrow. Probably meet around 1:30 or 2.

    Anyone interested?

ofcourse..... but wil have to get back to ya, the hill top will be my limit perhaps little river (remember theres a lot of shingle etc on the rds up there still.... can still see snow on that damn hill from here) and a earlier departure time might be wise.
Either way still keen for a spin.

    Talking Ride Time

Yeah.....keen as mustard, was planning a ride out there anyway... only twisties round for miles.... wouldn't mind a (much) earlier time tho... earlier the better as the campers (particularly) and tin tops start to get pretty annoying on that road...

Noticed heaps of bikes out today...took the missus for a coffee run to Lincoln and there was almost a constant stream...

I'm not able to make it either, no rego yet.
And have to take the bike out of hibernation (service it).
Will get around to it soon.
Was hoping to do it this weekend, but did MTB ride and serviced the KLX.
And did some work on the KTM so I can ride it on sunday.

Opps.... sorry bout the late notice, it will have to be a quick ride for me due to other comitments but a short ride is better than no ride.
Anyway how does 12:30 sound at the vets in Hallswell for a ride around to the Black tulip then over Gebbys pass to the Weatcheif for a beer then over the kiwi or around to Lyttelton through the tunnel.... something like that anyway

ps: Kickaha, if you were in town you would be more thn welcome to join us..... but the Yamaha would have to stay at home
    cheers DD

Doesn't look like i will be able to make it as I have to shoot out to Sumner and meet some people. Might see if anyone is at the Wheat Sheaf on the way back.

Hey good ride guys, top weather even the beer went down bloody good, but I think the Auckland crowd would of been a tad board with no stunt shows wheelies and bins

Yeah, was a really good day, must have been in the high teens atleast. Met Dangerous and Manuboy just after 12:30 and headed out towards little river, but turned off at Tai Tap and went over the hills to the Wheat Cheif for a and met up with Geoffm.

Dangerous and Geoff headed back to town by Manuboy and I headed off towards akaroa, but to stop at the Hilltop pub and turn around. Was a really good ride apart from one corner that had grit on it just before the hilltop. Wasn't going hard into it but was enough to have a decent slide and a near full lock to lock head shake, needed to change me gruts after that one but all was well. We turned around at the hilltop and came back to chch.

Great ride, best for a few months for me and nice to meet you manuboy

WANKER! but what else could you expect from someone who rides a Honda, although I'd probably have to bring a litre of oil with me at the rate the XJ is consuming it
