If you know what schools this person went to you may find them through www.oldfriends.co.nz this method has proven useful to me in times past for getting in touch with old friends i've lost touch with, if the person doesn't want to contact you though then the chances of them replying to your email are next to nothing. You could also place an ad in the local paper, in the personal column. TRy all their old friends and family members etc. Sometimes it's a waiting game but people rarely just disappear. Good luck if the person has had hobbies or sports in the past the chances are they will have had contact with clubs in auckland within the last few years, you can always ring them and ask.
If they've legally changed their name, then there will be a record of it with Internal Affairs. If not there's still a trail, chances are they haven't stopped using their real date of birth.
All sounds very interesting.
Stick their name in Google. you'd be amaised what comes up.
If you're really serious, hire someone to track them down.

I just wish I had had another 20 years of life experience to have had the
knowledge to sift out the really nasty ruthless people in this world from the nice ones.
Anyway I probably shouldn't have used this site for this topic.....its just
you never really know who is on this site who might want to help with advice
Yes. That will probably be my next move.Originally Posted by Fazer Bloke

But in saying that, that is how it "appears "....it might not be a
fact. That area seems to be predominantly rental properties.

Not necessarily. Depends on who you know. There are a few esteemed KBers with access to the sort of info you're after. My Dad works for IRD and his wife for Internal Affairs. Seriously every gf I've introduced them to they've done a "security check" on, tis amazing the info that can be dug up.... lolOriginally Posted by KATWYN
We've also got a couple of cops here too remember.
I've heard of people getting fired for running non-work-related database queries at their IRD desks. Looking up mates, or mates' mates, and all that. Good job, too. If I were a datacenter supervisor at the IRD, I'd be making section heads verify reports of all the queries their minions ran each week.Originally Posted by Ghost Lemur
