Thumbs up Coro Loop road state (15 July)

    Hi all

In case you were wondering what the road is like after last weeks storms, I had a pootle around the loop today and it is fine with just a bit of mud about. Quite a few trees down around the place but all are well off the road.

    Cheers

You haven't got a black K have you? We were heading south from Coro early Sun pm and saw one heading north from Thames. (we were in the car so you wouldn't have noticed us.) Had been up to clean up our property. Lots of pongas and tree branches down, part of the tractor shed roof off, but the house was ok fortunately.

    Hi

That would been me I guess. Silver helmet and riding like a nana...Was up for a wee ride and although slow (don't like the wet roads on the rear Metzler ) and a bit windy/rainy it was quite nice to wander up to Coromandel town for a coffee then do the loop.

Glad to hear not too much damage. Guy at the BP (fellow biker) in Coro commented that the bit from Thames to Coro town was the worst bit .

    Cheers
