    Sparking issues

I just got a 1980 Suzuki GP 125 that has good compression and the rest is rust. Anyway the problem is that it isn't sparking the plug and we only get small contact sparks with a wire. Tried a new ignition coil but that didn't seem to change anything. All the wiring seems to look okay. When it is kicked over and my mate earths himself to the bike he gets shocked but the plug won't spark on the frame or engine. Just got a new spark plug (old one didn't look bad), checked the kill switch etc. It's like it just does have enough to make the plug spark. Any ideas? We sanded back contacts too. We wern't able to get the flywheel as we don't have a puller, will try with some other tools + force and hammer tapping tomorrow.

Have you got the polarity of the coil right way round ..??? and if so is the condenser ok ??? look at the points if there is a continuos spark across the points pos condesor is gone ,, check for holding a charge , earthing or easier is the stuff inside trying to get out through the top

The woodrough key that spins the magneto around from the stator had sheared off and therefore when we did get it going it would soon after go out of time and not start. Also sanded the points around the magneto and the sanded the connectors and got a good spark, runs sweet now. Cheers for the help.
